Here we go - two more weeks left in the NFL season - some great games this weekend (Jets/Giants, Eagles/Cowboys, Chargers/Lions, Falcons/Saints - all with significant playoff implications. Unfortunately, it feels like every Thursday Night game has been horrible. This week is no different - but we do get the "Wait, who's their Quarterback?" match up of the year! Check for the pick for Texans/Colts after the jump...
Houston Texans (-6.5) vs. Indianapolis Colts, 8:20 ET - NFL Network
What a match up we have here to kick off the Week 16 games. I mean does it get any better than T.J. Yates and Dan Orlovksy bringing the fans what they want? I literally read something on ESPN's bottom-line this week that went something like "Manning will not practice with the Colts for the rest of the season because he does not want to take first team reps away from Dan Orlovsky and Curtis Painter." The mere thought of Manning going out there and throwing passes followed up by D.O. and C.P is comical to me. Anyways - for the game I'm playing against Arian Foster in Fantasy so there's no way I can possible root for the Texans to get out to any type of a lead and then start the handoff drill. I'm hoping the Colts can somehow manage to contain Foster like they did with Chris Johnson last weekend. Doubt it will happen - but it's good enough for me to back the Colts plus the points at home.
